According to a study from Terra Networks, based on traffic figures from comScore Media Metrix, the growth of US Hispanic online users is outpacing general users by a factor of 6.5.

The Hispanic online audience in the US increased by 13% between the end of 2005 and the end of 2006, while the general market increased only 2% during the same period.

 

Not only is the total audience size growing, but Hispanics are spending more time online, too.

US Hispanics have passed the general market in terms of time spent online per day; they now spend an average of 88.1 minutes online per day, vs. 81.7 minutes per day for the online audience in general (for the month of December 2006).
